They are all done at last and I spent yesterday hanging them in the Small Works exhibition at the Brunswick Street Gallery. My first works in an exhibition. Very exciting and a little nervous making. If anyone is in Melbourne you are all inviting to come.
Here is the final one, it took awhile to finish as I had some problems with it and just couldn’t get it to work. I think I was over thinking it and just took it back to basics and it finally came together.
I think my favourite is no 5 with no 1 coming a close second, I like the smaller pieces. Well hope one of them sells!

These are looking so good Karen! Such a good set – I would hesitate to choose a favourite as they all seem to belong together somehow. Good luck with the exhibition, I’m sure they will sell, they are very appealing and would be easy to live with, gentle colours and calming forms!
Thanks Anna, I will let you know how it all works out.
They are delightful and the last one which you had trouble with, certainly worked out. It is like the shapes are doing a little dance. All the best with this exhibition.
Thanks Julie, I love that the shapes are dancing as they are not completely fixed and can twirl around. Karen.
I really like no.5 and no.2 – and the idea of the exhibition to concentrate on small works is really cute as well, I’ll sure these will stand out – the texture and colours are great!
Thanks for your kind comments, it is interesting which works people prefer
An inspiring collection! – Sharon
Thank you so much Sharon, I appreciate your encouragement. Karen
