From My Journals

These are paintings from my Sketch Books.  There are a few now, my Sketch book which I do sketches of what is taking my interest at any given moment.  The other is my Journal and I do more design type drawings inspired often by the season.  There are some older sketches of my holidays.   This work is different to my studio work and keeps my art fresh and alive.  The sketches are done in watercolour, water colour pencils and ink.

I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed painting them. Many of these drawings are available as prints, visit my website to order your print.  Karen Bailey Studio

I have been doing lots of sketching and they are in this journal

Seasons of Colour Journal

This journal was started in 2014 and follows the seasons through the year, using the colours, themes and activities of the year to influence my drawings.

This group is from my trip to France in 2012.  See May 2012 in my blog for all the stories that go with them.

These other are from various small trips I have taken since.
